The Code Space Community is embarking on an exciting new chapter in our mission to create a vibrant, global community of #blackexcellence, founders, designers, and techies across Africa who learn, grow, and succeed together. As we expand our impact each year, we're seeking visionary individuals to become our first-ever Community Ambassadors.

Why We're Introducing The Ambassadorship Program:

• To generate active engagement across our diverse channels
• To establish a welcoming culture for new members
• To spark and nurture valuable discussions that drive our community forward

Responsibilities

• Help moderate Slack channels and encourage positive and inclusive interactions
• Actively participate in the Code Space community by attending events and engaging in discussions
• Assist in reviewing incoming applications for potential members of the Code Space community
• Represent the non-profit organization in a professional and positive manner
• Weekly check ins with Community Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active member of the Code Space community
• Ability to commit a minimum of 2 hours each week to ambassador duties
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
